Queries/Research(Pictures)

An unusual mug type from a newly discovered Roman camp at Aalter, Flanders, (between Ghent and Bruges).  The type is not recognized in that region.  The mug comes from a context of c. AD 130-170 and shows traces of white slip and red dots (alternating in-between the incised patterns). If you recognize the type please contact  so that we can pass on the information to Wim De Clercq or Steve Willis

(Please e-mail your suggestions and observations to and they will be added to this section)
